We found Barb and Infinity Dachshund through GoodDog. We had been looking for a puppy at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, which took several months. Fortunately, we found Barb. Barb was responsive, answered our questions, provided pictures, and informed us about our future pup’s personality. Barb was spot on with Keanu’s personality; he is very needy and lets you know when he wants attention. Unfortunately, we got delayed by the house closure and could not pick up Keanu until November 1, 2020. Barb was very accommodating with our housing situation.
Keanu knew instantly that we were his family as soon as we locked our eyes and opened the door. Keanu came into our lives amid a pandemic, and my grandfather had passed away a few days earlier to us picking up Keanu. My dad ended up passing away the following year, 2021. Even on the most challenging days, Keanu has been the reason I got out of bed in the morning. He has given us the unconditional love and affection that we have been missing in our lives. His brown eyes are very expressive, and you can feel his love even though he “can’t speak” human. Everyone deserves a Keanu in their lives. Keanu is four years old; he loves playing fetch and going on walks; he has a gated front yard and backyard; he has traveled to Ithaca, NY, and Virginia, DC, and has an older and younger sister. His older sister, Kenya (cat), loves rubbing her head on him, and his younger sister, Jolie, plays with and snuggles with him daily.
We don’t know where we would be without Keanu. We are beyond thankful to Barb and Infinity Dachshund, as Keanu continues to be the apple of our eyes and our whole hearts. Our beautiful Claire (“Bear”) came into our lives in October 2020 and I can’t imagine our family without her. I am forever grateful to Barbara at Infinity Dachshunds.
Claire is an amazing sister to her 2 brothers (one human and one dachshund) and she is my most loyal companion. She has an incredibly sweet disposition and is very intelligent. She looks small and delicate but we discovered that she is quite tough when she got away from us during a hike in 2021 and was out in the woods while we searched for her for 8 days (the longest 8 days of my life). When she was finally reunited with her pack, we made training a priority and found she has a natural aptitude for learning new skills.
When we got Claire, my human son was 15 months old and our other dog, Oscar, was 12 weeks old; it’s been incredible watching the three of them grow up together.

We got our ee cream miniature longhair Dachshund, Lily, from Infinity Dachshunds in New York four years ago. She is the most mild-mannered Dachshund we have ever had (we have had six Dachshunds over the course of our lives) and she is great with both children and adults. She loves her dog and cat siblings too. You can tell by Lily’s disposition that Barbara puts a lot of careful consideration into which Dachshunds to use in her breeding program. Lily loves to sit on laps and is always up for cuddling. Her favorite place to be is sitting in my lap while I watch television or work on my computer. She is very smart and has been known to trick her Dachshund brother into giving up a toy or a warm place on the sofa. She has brought so much joy and humor to our lives over these past 4 years and if we were to get another Dachshund, we would not hesitate to reach out to Barbara and Infinity Dachshunds.

I would be happy to share my experience with anyone who is looking for a dachshund puppy.
Here is my testimonial:
I’ve always wanted a dachshund. Especially a yellow/blonde one. While going through a recent loss, it seemed like just the right time to get one. Family and friends were telling me to look out of state. But one day I Googled and found Barb and Infinity Dachshund a few towns away for me. It seemed too good to be true.
After filling out the application online, I waited. I frequently checked back to the website for updates. On my application, I noted that I wanted a girl pup.
One day, I got an email from Barb at Infinity Dachshund. The email asked if I was interested in taking a male pup. I said no, that I would wait until she had a female. Feeling uneasy about my quick answer, I asked Barb if she had a picture of this male pup. She sent me several and I started to fall in love. I asked her If I could visit this pup, since I live so close. I knew I was going to meet “my boy” that day.
I was right. Brody is the sunshine on my cloudy days. He has brought so much happiness back into my life. I never knew I could feel this way about an animal.
Brody is healthy and smart.He’s so unique with his blonde coat, green eyes and brown nose. Barb had him almost perfectly paper trained before I even took him home at 9 weeks old.
I’m hoping to get my female dachshund pup from Barb in the near future. I recommend Infinity Dachshund to anyone looking for their sunshine.

Hi Barb! Our little trouble maker is as good as gold! We love him so much. When I took him to the vet for his well-check, all the techs were taking his picture with their phones! He gets along with every one and plays with our doxie, Bonnie. Those little needle-teeth! We’re learning to keep away from those! He’s so cute when he runs around.I’m crate training him. I put him in around six pm and around one am he squeaks a little to wake me up. Then I put him on the puppy pad, he goes, then I return him to bed again. Such a smart little guy! Thank you so much for bringing him to us. Hope you are well and can relax now that school is out.
