Here at Infinity Dachshunds, our goals have always been breeding healthy, happy dogs with great temperaments! We believe that dogs are family and we want to do everything to make sure that our pups get the best “furever” families.
We are not a kennel with multiple dogs that cannot get our full attention and love. Our dogs are part of our family and live in our home! If you were to visit, you’d see our girls laying on the couch with us! This is why our guardianship program becomes so important to our success! It is designed so that all of our dogs have their own forever family but are a very important part of the breeding program that helps us to continually strive to breed the best we can. By placing them in a home environment that will be their forever home from the time they are puppies, or by placing as a young adult, we are doing our best to ensure their happiness and best start in life.

We’re proud to introduce our Infinity Guardian Program — a unique opportunity for responsible, dog-loving families to partner with us in raising exceptional puppies. This program is designed to place our top-quality breeding dogs in loving, permanent homes while allowing us to continue our mission of improving the breed through thoughtful, ethical practices.
Being a guardian home for Infinity Dachshunds gives people a chance to own one of my sweet little dachshunds at a lower cost. Many of my girls are older pups around 9 months – 24 months old. Dachshunds are the BEST little dogs – everyone NEEDS one or two! But a good quality dog can be expensive. My guardian homes pay less than half price for their pup with contractual obligations to allow me to breed her. This is a win win for everyone, because they get to be with their forever family and only come to me for their breeding and puppies!
How It Works:
As a Guardian Family, you’ll welcome one of our select female dogs into your home as your cherished pet. She will live with you full time and enjoy a wonderful life as a member of your family. When she’s of age (18-24 months) and passes all health and temperament testing, she will come back to us for breeding and whelping and we handle everything!
Each guardian dog is placed at a reduced fee (usually half of the cost for one of our Infinity pups). Additionally, when you partner with us for two or three carefully planned litters, and in return, you’ll receive:
- A monetary stipend with each litter produced — which reduces the cost of your dog even further.
It’s a thoughtful way to expand your dachshund family and give back to the future of the breed — all with our full guidance and support.
What You’ll Love:
You will have a shared purpose in helping us raise healthy, happy, well-socialized puppies in loving homes.
- Full Support – We handle all medical testing, breeding plans, and expenses related to litters.
- Lifetime Companion – After a few planned litters (usually 2-4), full ownership is signed over to you permanently.
What We Look For:
- A safe, stable, and loving home environment
- Willingness to communicate and collaborate with us
- Commitment to proper training, care, and vetting
- A fenced yard is preferred
- Located within 45 miles of Smithtown,NY for easy coordination( but we can make exceptions, if you are willing to travel to me!)
We are so thankful for our guardian homes and are always in need of others interested in the program, so that we can continue the successful way our breeding program works and avoid kenneling dogs when possible.

Cookie is a beautiful Silkie Wire! She is 100% dachshund! 🥰. Her coat is a cross between a long haired dachshunds and a wire haired dachshund, which makes shedding minimal! She is a yummy chocolate and cream girl about 10 lbs!
